Check out what other Family Review Network Reviewers thought of Norah Jone’s “The Fall” release:

Happy Healthy Families: I admit I was not too familiar with Nora Jones before I listened to her latest CD, but I can say that I am now a bonafide fan!

Momma Blogs a Lot: The perfect cure for the chaos of life with a preschooler and teething infant – I’ve taken to listening to it in the car during our trips to the store and on my computer when baby is napping or even better while playing brain games on Lumosity.com – I swear my performance improves when I listen while playing!

Mommy Goggles: I pulled this CD over to my iPod and I listen to it everywhere I go, in the car, on the elliptical, everywhere. I thought her first CD was the best that she could make, but this one (I do believe) has the first release topped. If there is a CD on your list, this one is a great addition!

Really, Are You Serious?: This CD seemed a little less jazzy and a little more rock and roll (do people even say that anymore)? I still love how light The Fall is and the sound of her voice is just so soothing. According to her site, in The Fall Norah is experimenting with different sounds and a new set of collaborators. I think that explains the “little more rock and roll” feel I was getting from it.

Rockin Mama: Norah’s new CD is just incredible. If you know her and her music, then you know she’s got this jazzy, bluesy sort of approach to her music. Her voice is just lovely and she cites Billie Holiday and Willie Nelson as early influences on her and her music.

Seeryus Mama: Enter a giveaway here, ending January 26th, 2010.

Welcome to the Motherhood: Stronger than ever, Norah has strayed away from her jazz-pop sound that we fell in love with to an impressive, electric pop-rock sound that will delight old and new fans! My favorite track on the album is I Wouldn’t Need You.
