Your Couture Kid

November 15, 2008
I love a pretty package.
That is why I was delighted with the polka dot package that a cute flower hair barrette from Your Couture Kid  arrived in. All I need do is add a tag and I have a darling little gift.

The barrette is made of paper flowers with a big button in the center. Your Couture Kid has a large selection of these cute flower barrettes along with ponytail holders and headbands. Now, who doesn’t love pretties for their hair?
 Another delightful “find” at
Your Couture Kid are the fabulous embellished footstools.
You can pick one with feathers or one wearing a tutu.
There’s even one wearing sneakers!

“At Your Couture Kid, we know that every tot is a Couture Kid, no matter what the budget. We want to help you make your child one of a kind. If you are a mom, dad, aunt, uncle, grandparent or even a friend, then this is the site for you to come to for all your children’s needs and desires.”

What our reviewers think:
Amanda: Lately Sam has been wanting to wear flowers so I was really excited when we received the cute flower hair clip from Your Couture Kid. Sam gets a lot of compliments on her clip and I have to agree, it really is adorable! Your Couture Kid has adorable items great for baby showers to birthday parties. You can find some great boutique items.

Maria’s Space: The ponytail holder is beautiful, colorful unique. Even the package the ponytail holder comes in is cute and swanky. It was so cute I didn’t want to open it. You get a whole lot of swank for very few bucks. These are great stocking stuffers and because they are not made with ribbons, older girls who feel they are “aren’t babies” anymore won’t mind wearing them.

Sheltered not Shattered: This particular hairbow is very well put together. the flowers and beads are tied to the pony tail holder with a black mesh ribbon which can barely be seen from the top. It was very comfortable to wear. I know little girls everywhere will love all the bright colors available.

Mama Sparkles: Your Couture Kid is one of those great online destinations. It has everything in one place for your tot, from clothes, to shoes, to accessories, to baby gear, this store’s got it covered. I received an adorable flower hair barrette and it’s beautifully made. The paper flowers are stacked together with precision and the shiny bead is sewn in the center for the finishing touch.

From Melissa’s Desk: I had the pleasure of receiving one of their handmade hair barrettes similar to the one on the left. It is adorable! It’s very well made and not too big or too small. What a refreshing change to the everyday hair ribbon.

Mommy Blog Reviews: When I received the headband from Your Couture Kid in the mail, I did not expect my girls to turn into extreme fighting champions trying to be the one to wear it first. And yet…that’s exactly what happened. It seems the initial “cuteness” factor was too much for my girls and they each felt there could be no taking turns, they wanted to be the one to wear it first.

Red Sox Mommy: My daughter received a headband from their line of hair accessories She was so excited to wear her “bandy head.” Just look how happy it made her! Needless to say, she LOVES it!

All Because Two People Fell In Love:  These quality and adorable hair accessories would make the perfect gift for any little princess on your Christmas List. We highly recommend this site to everyone.

Brain Foggles: With the help of Family Review Network, I received a headband. It is made of blue ribbon woven over a red headband. It is just perfect! It was packaged in a plastic gift bag. No need to wrap. Maybe just add a bow and it’s ready to go! Any of these hair accessories would be very nice gifts, even stocking stuffers.

The Clan McLeod: We love the fun colors and unique construction of these hair accessories! The Princess has already made it known that she needs many more to match her various outfits!

Rockin’ Mama: My favorite way to use PakNak charms are on gift bags and cards.  I absolutely love wrapping gifts and I think this is a unique and fun way to decorate a gift.

The Clan McLeod: We knew we had to have Grant the Soccer Ball charm for Pink Panther to put on her soccer backpack. Now, her whole team wants one!

Sage and Savvy: DS loved the Earth Nak - he kept pointing to it and asking “wha-dat?” The funny thing—he loves the sound of Velcro so he kept taking the Nak off and putting it back on again, but despite how many times he did that, the Nak stayed in place firmly whenever we used the tote!

Val’s Views: They look exactly like they do on the website. The charms were easy to apply and change. What an affordable and fun way to personalize your stuff!

Lisa Reviews: It took me less than 5 minutes to attach, and I can easily switch the places of the charms.  Now, Madison’s backpack is pretty busy.  Can you imagine the difference these would make on a single colored cooler or backpack?  All I know is that the PakMak charms made my 4 year old a very happy little girl!

A Mom Speaks: The charms were extrememly easy to attach to their backpacks.  All you do is open the package, peel the backing off, stick it to the backpack, and them style the charm the way you want it to look.  My kids loved the charms on their backpacks and my son was showing everyone at school his soccer ball.  The Pak Nak Charms were a big hit!

Ohana Mama: Now that my son is in preschool he’s got his backpack to carry an extra set of clothes and his blanket for nap time.  The backpack is a cute surf backpack, which I thought was cool and so did my little one.  But now it’s even cooler because on his surf backpack he can add the Sk8r PakNak Charm!

The Glamorous WAHM: My three year old son was very excited to decorate with his football PakNak. These gems are self-adhesive, flexible, and weatherproof, making them no hassle for mom or dad!

Free Birthday Treats Blog: According to my son, he is going to start collecting these. I think it’s a great accessory to add to a birthday package or stuff in a stocking. The kids will love adding their own kind of “bling” to their stuff.

Mom of 2 Dancers: When I first came across the website, I thought they were sticky back. They are so much better though. I also didn’t realize that you can interchange them. Knowing my kids, they wouldn’t want to lose the cute little design. With it being velcro though, they won’t! How cool is that, my girls loved them.

An Island Review: PakNak could not be easier to use - just open, peel, stick, & style. It’s so easy that my daughter was able to use them to decorate her items herself. It made her feel like such a big girl. What I really liked about PakNak is the many cute and colorful choices. Each one also comes with a trading card that tells you all about each individual design. It really helps to bring each one to life.
