I’m embarrassed to admit it, but I haven’t had my daughter’s picture taken as much as I have my son’s.

You know, it’s that second kid thing.

I have good intentions…I do and then it just never works out the way I want.

Paige is having her pictures taken on Monday – and I hope it goes well.  She’s in that stage of wanting to see every picture after it’s taken.  The luxury kids have these days!

I’m not leaving my son out, much to his delight (you know, 10 year old boys), he’s going to have to show his pearly whites too.  We’re going for the matchy-matchy look and I”m sure that will please him.  Johnny will be wearing a red polo and jean shorts while Paige will be wearing a lady bug dress.

I hope the pictures turn out!

If you have more than one child, how do your photo sessions add up?

I can’t believe that it’s time for school once again!  We just started this week, with my son returning for his last year of elementary school as a 5th grader.

That means we’re back on a schedule, including those dreaded early bedtimes!  It’s certainly an adjustment for our family and it’s been even more difficult because we didn’t enforce an early bedtime a few weeks before school.  I know…I know…

Even though I knew that part would be difficult, but I didn’t count on my 2 year really missing her brother.  Throughout the day, I’ll find her at the window peeking out…watching for Johnny to come home.  It’s really sweet and when he finally does come home it’s quickly back to normal with that brotherly and sisterly love.  You know the kind, bickering and picking on one another - yeah, that one! 

All kidding aside, I love this time of year, it means that the weather will start changing, football is right around the corner and in our house – a schedule is maintained!
